All three members of the CSN Washington Redskins coverage team are 2-0 with their Redskins picks so far. Do they ride the Redskins’ hot hand this week or do they take the Cowboys at home? Let’s take a look:
Ryan O’Halloran (2-0)
The Redskins cashed in on a golden opportunity in Week 1 when the Giants came to town banged up and out of sync. Monday night is another chance for the Redskins. Even if Tony Romo starts, he is sure to be slowed by a cracked rib, he won’t have receiver Miles Austin and the offensive line is equal parts banged up and still learning to play together. Rex Grossman plays another efficient game and the Redskins move to 3-0.
Redskins 27, Cowboys 21
Jennifer X. Williams (2-0)
Pro-bowler DeMarcus Ware has a clean bill of health and has recorded 4 sacks in just two games this season. He is a BEAST. Expect the burgundy and gold to use to two guys to man Ware. The Redskins say they are ready for Ware, but it will probably take at least one brutal sack for them to fully comprehend the urgency to move Grossman around in order to protect him.
The Redskins have the original 'Beast' in Brian Orakpo coupled with rookie Ryan Kerrigan, Kerakpo will be a force. LaRon Landry says he's playing. We have only seen glimpses of his ability due to injuries, but if there is one night to have an epic game, there is is no bigger stage.
If the Skins can back up all the talk (That's you DeAngelo Hall) and play hard-nosed football, then they will face the Rams in week 4 at 3-0.
Redskins 23, Cowboys 13
Rich Tandler (2-0)
I did make a prediction that Dallas would win earlier this week but I’m going to engage of the great Washington tradition of doing a flip-flop. The Redskins have lost 13 of their last 15 in Dallas and they have lost to some pretty bad and beaten-up Cowboys teams in that stretch. That was the reasoning behind my original pick. I think that this Redskins team is different and that they have what it takes to take advantage of the Cowboys’ woes. Takeaways will be the difference in a Redskins win.
Redskins 20, Cowboys 14
