According to media reports, the Redskins have signed Evan Royster and Doug Worthington to their practice squad.
Royster was a fifth-round pick of the Redskins last April. He played in the first and fourth preseason games, picking up 110 yards rushing on 26 attempts and scored a touchdown.
Worthington was picked up as a free agent during training camp. The defensive end was drafted by theSteelers in 2010 and has not played in an NFL game.
The Redskins have six more spots to fill on the eight-man practice squad.
Update: Multiple sources are reporting that guard Maurice Hurt, the team's seventh-round pick, and Wide recevier Aldrick Robinson a sixth-round pick, have signed with the practice squad. That means that the Redskins have all three of the 2011 draft picks they released on their practice squad.
Update: Defensive back Reggie Jones will return to the Redskins' practice squad where he spent part of last season. Five of the eight spots on the practice squad have been filled.
