The Giants will be without one of their Pro Bowl defensive ends when they face the Redskins on Sunday. Osi Umenyiora has been declared out of Sunday's game against the Redskins.
Could the be missing another?
Multiple members of the Giants media are reporting that Justin Tuck is sitting out today's practice with a neck injury. He was listed as limited in practice on yesterday's injury report.
Inside Football editor Patricia Traina said that she would be "shocked" if two-time Pro Bowl end did not play on Sunday so we will see. If he does not play, the next player on the Giants' depth chart is fifth-year player Dave Tollefson.
Update: Giants coach Tom Coughlin said that an MRI revealed no disc problems in Tuck's neck, which is a positive. Tuck told reporters, "I'm concerned, but I'm not panicked." He also did not make any guarantees that he will play on Sunday.
Update: Traina texted me an update: "Hmmm, sounds like Tuck is a question mark after all."
