Safety Oshiomogho Atogwe, who sat out practice for the second straight day with an injured knee, said that he hopes to be able to play against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Atogwe said that he injured the knee at some point early in last Sunday’s game against the Eagles. He did finish the game, making an interception in the second half.
Reserve cornerback Byron Westbrook sat out practice today after injuring a hamstring during practice yesterday. DeAngelo Hall was limited with a toe injury.
For the Panthers, tight end Greg Olsen (toe) and linebacker Thomas Williams (head) had full particpation in practice today after sitting out yesterday.
