Since Friday is the last day of game preparation and most issues involving the previous game and the upcoming contest have been dealt with, news around the team facility tends to be rather scarce. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be any.
The condition of starting free safety Oshiomogho Atogwe’s knee is very much up in the air. He said yesterday that he injured it some time early during the Eagles game but he was able to finish the game. However, he has not practiced all week. We will see what Mike Shanahan has to say about his prospects of playing and check his status when the Friday injury report comes out.
If Atogwe can’t go, Reed Doughty would take his place. Yesterday Shanahan ruled out activating Kareem Moore, last year’s starting free safety, off of the physically unable to perform list. Moore was eligible to start practicing this week but he has not done so.
We’ll also follow up on the appearance of DeAngelo Hall on Thursday’s injury report. He was listed as limited with a toe injury.
