Redskins rookie wide receiver Niles Paul said via Twitter that he was being fined $20,000 by the NFL for an illegal hit on St. Louis Rams punt returner Austin Pettis.
Paul did not apreciate the news as a start to his in-season vacation.

I cry foul! When the idiot kick/punt returner for the Rams wouldn't fair catch the ball he was pretty much asking to be clobbered, wasn't he? The league is just getting silly with this kind of stuff. It's a violent sport and violence will follow...
