2004 – lost to Green Bay 28-14; 2005 – beat Seattle 20-17 OT; 2006 – beat Dallas 22-19; 2007 – beat Detroit 34-3; 2008 – lost to Dallas 14-10; 2009 – lost at Atlanta 31-17; 2010 – lost to Philadelphia 59-28.
Coach Mike Shanahan has a winning record at the bye mark for the 10th time in his head coaching career (not including his season-plus with the Raiders, when the bye did not exist).
Shanahan’s record after the bye is 10-5, a .750 winning percentage. His overall regular-season career percentage is .587.
Shanahan’s Bronco teams had several late-season byes – Week 12 in 1999, Week 15 in 2001; Week 10 in 2003 and 2004 and Week 9 in 2005 and last year.
