The Redskins saw the Vikings’ Adrian Peterson suffer a devastating injury in Saturday’s game between two teams that had been eliminated from the playoffs. It will be difficult for Peterson to recover in time to be able to line up at the start of next season. It may take quite a while after he does play for him to regain his old form.
After having witnessed this, should the Redskins risk injury to their key players in Sunday’s meaningless game in Philadelphia? Should Roy Helu, Evan Royster, Brian Orakpo, Ryan Kerrigan, Barry Cofield and others sit this one out? Or do the Redskins have an obligation to field their best team and try to win the game?
Also, would you feel any different if the Eagles could get into the playoffs with a win? Or is all that someone else’s problem? Let us know in the comments!

Who do the Redskins have that they can't afford to lose? Um, yeah I'm coming up empty here. Only reason to sit a starter is if they want to evaluate a different person for next year.
If the Redskins were playoff bound and legitimately resting starters to stay healthy, I would say Philly's status is irrelevant to our coach's decision making process.
