The Redskins’ Roy Helu was limited in practice today, still bothered by knee and toe injuries that kept him out of last Saturday’s game with the Vikings.
It will be surprising if Helu is inactive again on Sunday. After the Redskins released Ryan Torain yesterday, Helu and Evan Royster are the only running backs on the roster. It is unlikely that the team would have made the roster move if they thought that there was a good possibility that Helu would have to miss the game.
In addition to Helu, Jammal Brown (hip), and London Fletcher (ankle) also were limited in practice.
For the Eagles, two of the their better players, RB LeSean McCoy (ankle) and CB Asante Samuel (hamstring) were out of today’s practice.
