A few days ago we passed along some praise that NFL Films analyst Greg Cosell had for quarterback Robert Griffin III.
“Initial evaluation positive,” said Cosell on Twitter, who said that he had evaluated only two games worth of film on RG3. “Initial evaluation positive. Arm strength stood out. He can flick it.”
Yesterday, after the Redskins’ trade that most likely will bring Griffin to Washington Cosell envisioned Griffin in Mike Shanahan’s offense. And he liked what he saw.
Shanahan drafted Jay Cutler in Denver in 2006 and the quarterback made the Pro Bowl in 2008 with 4,526 yards passing.
