The Redskins have signed former Pro Bowl safety Brandon Meriweather according to media reports.
Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network is reporting that Meriweather signed a two-year contract worth a total of $6 million.
Meriweather was drafted by the Patriots in the first round of the 2007 draft. He started 41 games in four seasons with in New England and made the Pro Bowl there following the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
