Robert Griffin III said it would be a dream to play for the Redskins. And, oh yeah, he wouldn’t mind playing for the Colts.
On the SiriusXM Blitz today (as transcribed by Dan Steinberg), Girffin was asked about playing for the Redskins. He spoke of growing up a fan of the Broncos, who were coached by Mike Shanahan. “Would it be a dream come true to play for them?” Yes it would,” he said.
Griffin said that when the Redskins talked to him during the NFL combine and before his pro day, they talked about how they would use him in the offense.
It did not sound like he got into very much depth with the Colts.
“You know, most of my interaction happened at the combine, a little bit at my pro day,” he said.
“You know, I don’t mind playing in Indy, I don’t mind playing in Washington, it’s just a matter of what’s the best fit and who really wants you.”
