Former Redskin Shawn Springs is the latest to talk on the record about Gregg Williams' supposed "bounty" program with the Redskins. Springs doesn't deny that there was a system of rewards but he says that the intent was not to reward injuring players or knocking them out of the game.
"When you say bounty you intend to kill someone or hurt someone," Springs, who was with the Redskins from 2004-2008, told Chick Hernandez. "That wasn't what it was."
