The Redskins got some good new on the injury front today.
Defensive end Jarvis Jenkins, who missed all of his rookie season last year after suffering a torn ACL during a preseason game, tweeted the following this afternoon:
There was an earlier indication that Jenkins’ rehab was going well. In December, defensive coordinator Jim Haslett said that Jenkins could play then if he was allowed to (he couldn’t as he had gone on season-ending injured reserve). But this tweet from Jenkins is certainly a more concrete statement about the status of his knee.
The Redskins will start their offseason program on Monday. It appears that it will be full speed ahead for Jenkins once it gets underway.
