Sometimes I get mad when someone beats me to an idea for a post. But not this time.
Dan Graziano of ESPN.com did a great job of compiling the history of every pick that the Redskins have in this year’s draft. For example, he looks at who the last five No. 2 overall picks are, who the Redskins have drafted in that spot (LaVar Arrington for one), what second picks are in the Hall of Fame, etc.
Then he goes on to the 69th overall pick, which is the Redskins’ next pick. The Redskins found one of the two Hall of Famers picked there, Russ Grimm.
It’s fun to peruse and it also gives you an idea of the kind of player who might be available when that pick rolls around. Go take a look.
