The Gregg Williams audio that is going viral right now was recorded by a filmmaker named Sean Pamphilon. He was working on a project about Steve Gleason, a former Saint who is suffering from ALS.
Pamphilon spent a lot of time around the team in the course of making the Gleason film. And he told Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports something that may explain why he never was offered the Redskins head coaching job after Joe Gibbs left.
“During my time with the team, numerous sources told me that Williams used to go around bragging that he had a ‘[expletive] you’ clause in his contract – that he could basically do whatever he wanted in terms of running the defense, with complete autonomy,” Pamphilon said. “The message was clear: ‘I’m running [expletive]. If you don’t do it my way, you’ll be gone.’”
I think that Dan Snyder would have given Williams a degree of autonomy if he had made him the Redskins head coach. But there would not have been a “[expletive] you” clause in his deal, either written or understood.
Something tells me that may not have ended well.

This was bad!!!! Dirty bad!!!! Jail house fashion bad!!! Tis is also Jeff Fishcer's' boy, both Fish and Payton need to be looked at differently. Why is Fischer incharge of any commitees outside his own team if he keeps this type of company. I'm a 3 tour vet now going to college, you can be a hard ass without that attitude??????
