Here is what you need to know to get your Friday morning going:
Camp settles into routine
The Redskins training camp schedule settles into what will be the normal routine for seven of the next eight days. They’ll have a walkthrough at 10:40 AM, a session that is closed to the public. Then they’ll take a few hours off and hit the field at 3 p.m. for their full practice with the fans present.
That will be the schedule from now through Friday with the exception of the Sunday off day. Then a week from Saturday, Aug. 4, will be fan appreciation day with a single practice getting underway at noon with the presence of the Redskins band, cheerleaders, and other festivities.
After taking Sunday off there is another pair of two-a-days on Monday and Tuesday. Then they take off for the first preseason game at Buffalo on Wednesday.
In case you missed it
We jumped into full training camp mode with a ton of content. The chat was fun, we looked at RG3’s vow to play it safe when he runs unless the game situation says otherwise, Chris Cooley said that his knee feels good, and here are my notes from yesterday afternoon’s practice.
Coming up
This morning I’ve got a look at what the Redskins could do about Jammal Brown being on the PUP list and a post on a report that the Redskins are seeking veteran help at the running back spot.
