An MRI revealed no significant damage to the knee of Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather, according to a report in the Washington Post.
He injured his knee in the first half of Saturday night’s game in Chicago. Meriweather needed assistance to leave the field and he did not return to the game.
There is no indication as to when Meriweather will be able to return to the lineup. He has been working with the first team at safety in practice and in the two preseason games.
