Robert Griffin III knows he’s on the cover of this week’s edition of Sports Illustrated.
Just don’t expect the Redskins’ rookie to pick up a copy and read the article.
“I try to stay away from everything,” he said Wednesday. “Don’t read too much into anything. I know a couple of [reporters] asked London [Fletcher], ‘How do try to stay grounded after you have a game like that?’ You just don’t read anything. You don’t listen to it.”
Asked if his life had changed any since Sunday’s historic NFL debut in New Orleans, Griffin said, “Nah, not really.”
An admitted homebody who arrives at Redskins Park early and leaves late, Griffin said it hasn’t been hard avoiding the hype on the internet and airwaves.
“I’ve kind of just stayed away from it,” he said. “I do watch T.V., so I’ve heard a few things. But it’s not like I’m looking up articles trying to figure out what everyone is saying about how I performed. You just move on to the next week, and I made sure I did that Monday morning.”

As much pressure as there was for week one, there's definitely a lot more for week 2. I expect to see a better pass rush this week from the Rams. We're hearing all the right things though.
