When Jeff Fisher wanted someone to imitate Robert Griffin III on their scout team, he called on the player who knows the Redskins quarterback the best.
Running back Terrance Ganaway played with Griffin at Baylor for the last three years and he is now with the Rams. In 2011, Ganaway emerged as a major offensive weapon as he rushed for over 1500 yards. Since he watched plenty of RG3, Fisher thought that Ganaway would be the perfect guy to imitate him in practice.
This news became known via Griffin himself. In a phone call with the St. Louis media, he said that he had talked to Ganaway recently.
"He joked and then told me that they got him playing scout team quarterback this week,” said Griffin. “I'm sure they're grilling him about everything about me.”
Getting a solid scouting report on Griffin is one thing. It remains to be seen how much good Ganaway can do imitating RG3 on the field. He only lacks Griffin’s arm, speed, mobility, and quickness.
