Here is a look at who played how much against the Bucs (snap counts from the NFL):
Offensive snaps: 73
Quarterback: Robert Griffin III 73
Offensive line: Chris Chester, Will Montgomery, Kory Lichtensteiger, Trent Williams and Tyler Polumbus all played all 73 snaps
Williams made it despite a bone bruise on his knee that kept him out of practice for part of the week and had him questionable going into the game.
Wide receiver: Leonard Hankerson 65; Pierre Garçon 49; Santana Moss 35; Josh Morgan 30
Average WR per snap: 2.45 It will be interesting to track how the work load shakes out when Garçon is back up to 100 percent. Will any of the other three main receivers lose some snaps? Or will the plan be to go with more three- and four-receiver sets? Also notable that Dezmon Briscoe was active but did not get an offensive snap.
Tight end: Fred Davis 72; Logan Paulsen 12; Niles Paul 11
Davis continues to play virtually every snap of every game. Paul and Paulsen continue to play limited snaps on offense but they both seem to contribute a key block or make a catch whenever they play.
Running back: Alfred Morris 49; Evan Royster 15; Darrel Young (FB) 25; Brandon Banks 2
The NFL has Banks listed as playing wide receiver but he lined up in the backfield on both of his snaps. Ryan Grant may have taken a few snaps but he was inactive as they decided to activate an extra offensive linemen, possibly as insurance if Williams couldn’t make it through the game.
Defensive snaps: 60
Defensive line: Stephen Bowen 43; Jarvis Jenkins 35; Barry Cofield 32; Kedric Golston 17; Chris Baker 17; Doug Worthington 4
All six defensive linemen were active, possibly to combat the Bucs’ ground-oriented attack.
Linebacker: Ryan Kerrigan 60; London Fletcher 60; Perry Riley 57; Chris Wilson 31; Rob Jackson 28; Lorenzo Alexander 4; Keenan Robinson 1
Markus White was inactive due to the six lineman being dressed. Jackson started but Wilson played more snaps—will there be a change in the starter here?
Defensive backs: DeAngelo Hall 59; Madieu Williams 59; Josh Wilson 55; Reed Doughty 52; Richard Crawford 38; David Jones 4; DeJon Gomes 4
The headline is that Gomes went from starting the first three games and playing nearly every snap to just four plays here.
