There appears to be a very good chance the Michael Vick will not play against the Redskins.
He left Sunday’s game against the Cowboys in the first half with a concussion. Eagles coach Andy Reid confirmed that it was not of the mild variety.
"Michael, obviously, has a concussion,” said. “A pretty significant concussion.”
It was so signigicant that Reid told Vick to go home.
“He's resting. It's very important he does rest,” said Reid. “We're in communication until further testing takes place.”
Reid did not rule out Vick playing on Sunday and he used the often repeated “he is our quarterback” vote of confidence. But he also expressed confidence in rookie back Nick Foles.
"Nick will do a nice job,” he said. “Excited to see him play.”
