Two key defenders could be out for the Giants when they take on the Redskins on Monday night.
Safety Kenny Phillips has been listed doubtful for the game and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is questionable. Phillips has been hampered by a knee injury for much of the year while Pierre-Paul has a back problem that has forced him to miss practice the last two days.
Many Giants beat writers expect Phillips to miss the game and are not quite sure what to make of the Pierre-Paul situation.
Tight end Travis Beckum (knee) is out for New York. Linebacker Jacquian Williams (knee) is doubtful while wide receiver Domenik Hixon (ankle) and offensive tackle David Diehl (shoulder) are questionable.
For the Redskins, linebacker London Fletcher (ankle) and left tackle Trent Williams (thigh bruise) are listed as questionable.
