Some Redskins offensive linemen are taking to Twitter and suggesting that the suspension of offensive tackle Jordan Black may have been unjust.
Consider this from rookie guard Josh LeRibeus:
@JLeribeus: Don't trust everything you hear about Jordan Black. I know for a fact he isn't the doper he's accused of being.
Starting guard Chris Chester is more specific.
@Chesterchris66 Jordan Black's suspension is a faux attempt by the nfl to appear to care about players safety. He's getting screwed over paperwork.
And the wife of guard Kory Lichtensteiger goes into some more detail.
@Amlichte: Jordan Black is no doper both the nfl and redskins were aware of the prescribed meds he is taking. The idea of him using PEDs is ridiculous.
Redskins coach Mike Shanahan was unavailable for comment after the NFL announced that Black’s suspension, which goes for four games.
Update: More Redskins linemen have tweetd in support of Black.
Left tackle and team captain Trent Williams:
@Twill71: I really hate to c Jordan labeled as doper/cheater when that's def not the case. After the last decade he spent contributing to this league
And to see Jordan get screwed over is really disheartening SMDH total disgrace
And rookie tackle Tom Compton, who may move up on the depth chart after Black's suspension:
@TomCompton76: Jordan Black is no doper. Very unfortunate to see him labeled as one.
