Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III may be headed to the Pro Bowl in his rookie season in the NFL.
The league released the final fan voting for its all-star game today and Griffin finished sixth in total votes among all NFL players with over 683,000.
No other rookies in either the AFC or the NFC were in the top 10.
Although Griffin was in the top 10 he was not the top vote-getter at quarterback in the NFC. That honor went to Aaron Rodgers of the Packers who amassed over 770,000 votes.
The fan voting results do not guarantee Griffin or Rodgers spots on the Pro Bowl roster. Those votes are part of the equation along with the votes of coaches and players.
The AFC and NFC Pro Bowl teams will be announced on Dec. 26. The game will be played in Honolulu on Jan. 27.
