A look at the history between the Redskins and Seahawks:
The first time
Redskins 31, Seahawks 7
Sept. 19, 1976
RFK Stadium—The expansion Seahawks, playing just their second game, were no match for the seasoned Redskins. Mike Thomas, who rushed 27 times for 143 yards, scored on a five-years run in the first quarter. Billy Kilmer threw touchdown passes to Jean Fugett and Thomas to give the Redskins a 24-0 lead in the third quarter and the home team coasted from there.
