Kerrigan wishes he’d played better in 2012
For a variety of reasons, most NFL players tend to put a positive spin on what they have done individually, whether you ask the about a play, a game, or a season.
But Ryan Kerrigan, who will play in the Pro Bowl tomorrow, is not happy with his 2012 season. Not just some of it but “the whole thing”.
He told John Keim of the Washington Examiner that the season did not meet his expectations.
“I definitely expected bigger things from myself and the team. We wanted to continue to advance,” Kerrigan told Keim. “Coming into the season I wanted to be consistent week in and week out and I wasn’t that for most of the season. That’s frustrating. Hopefully I can use that as fuel.”
He had a lot more to say about wanting to refine his technique and develop more moves as he rushes the passer. Go take a look at John’s article for more.
