This video of Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, taken by a Seatlle TV station while he was wearing a microphone during last Sunday's wild card playoff game against the Redskins.
What has drawn the most attention is the punch that Trent Williams threw at Sherman after the game. Here was the exchange leading up to the punch, which looked a bit more violent in this shot than it did on the NFL Films capture of it:
Sherman: “What you goin’ do, boy?”
Williams: “I’m gonna punch you in your goddamn face."
Sherman: “Well then do it then, boy.”
Williams obliged.
But what struck me (see what I did there?) was what transpired after that. London Fletcher first steps in between the two players to prevent any other trouble. And then Robert Griffin III stepped in to what was left of the fray. Yes, the same RG3 who has just suffered a knee injury that will have him rehabbing at least until summer and probably longer, was in the middle of the field and approaching what could have been an explosive situation instead of walking away from it.
You like to see the fire and courage but you have to hope he loses some if it at some point.

yeah, and that little boy who got between them was Brandon Banks. What can I say, big heart.
