Earlier this week, our friends at CSNbayarea.com recently sat down and talked with former Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell. Here is the two-part series with the interview:
One former Redskins offensive coordinator is going to interview with another Redskins offensive coordinator about being the first offensive coordinator's offensive coordinator. The main player impacted will be a former Redskins quarterback.
The one going to interview is Al Saunders, the OC for the Redskins under Joe Gibbs from 2006-2007. He will be talking to Hue Jackson, the Redskins' offensive coordinator in 2003 after he served as running back coach in 2001-2002.
Jackson recently was hired as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. Saunders currently is a senior offensive assistant with the Baltimore Ravens.
The quarterback is Jason Campbell, who was traded to Oakland last year. Another Raiders offensive player is longtime Redskins running back Rock Cartwright.
I think that this reunion of sorts is more of a statement on the quantity of castoff Redskins players and coaches out there rather than anything about the quality.
